An April Fool for you and me.
April 1, 2009

Thanks for all the kind words about the musical episode! I enjoyed reading all of them and I still need to reply to many of the emails I got - I promise to get to them all!

I also thought that I should let everyone know what's going on in my film-life. I'm sure even if you didn't know I was one - I think based on reading the comic, you could deduce that I'm also a filmmaker. Well, this past weekend, it's been paying off a little.

Since October 2007 (you may remember this time as when the site stopped updating, well, here's why) I've been working on a feature film called Love Conquers Paul. I worked on it as a producer and also as the editor. Last weekend was the Kent Film Festival and the film took the top prize! The "Lynn Redgrave Award" - she was there to present it and everything. I just want to thank the writer/director, Colin Bannon who did a hell a job on the film, for the opportunity to be somewhat of a right-hand man in the project. Onward and upward! Next, Syracuse International! Wish us luck!

Thinks are looking up in the House of Classic - Mike and I have polished up the scripts to lead us all the way up to the end of Part 3 so now all I have to do is get through the art of it all. I can say this though - the writing is EXPLOSIVE.

The last thing I want to mention today about Ren. Today marks our two year anniversary and it's been quite the crazy last two years. Typically, I've always been one to keep my personal and professional lives separate - but Ren has been an important part of both and it's actually developed into a nice creative partnership as well as a romantic one. Love you, Ren - now you just have to get over from being sick!

Come on back on Friday, won't you?

Have thoughts on the comic? Send an email!
