So as Mike pointed out to me yesterday, I need to start thinking about my top 10 list of movies for the last decade. IF you ask me, that's insane - I usually have a hard time with my top 10 lists because I tend to forget what movies I saw (if any) in the first half of the year, let alone movies I saw over a year ago.

Are we even sure that any movies were made in 2000 and 2004? I'll have to double-check that, but I'm pretty sure all movies were cancelled. I will say that 2009 has been a fun year for movies so far ("so far" only because 2/3 of the good movies come out in the last 2 weeks of December - damn Oscar push).

In prepping to make this list though - it's been quite a nice bit of nostalgia over the past decade. It's amazing to think back to the first times I saw "The Royal Tenenbaums" or "Grizzly Man" or even where I was in my life at that time.

Mike asks me if I can even fathom picking one movie to be the absolute best movie of the last ten years. It's a daunting task - I may end up with a top 20 with a 3-spot first-place trophy. I think that might be the only way to truly do it.

Enjoy the comic for today - the script for which, didn't come easy. Drawing it was pretty fun, though. I guess everything's a balance!
